Data Deletion

Mark is operated by Blue Pelican Digital ("Blue Pelican," "we," "us"). This page explains how to request deletion of your Mark account and the data associated with it, including any data we obtained through Facebook, Instagram, or Meta.

How to request deletion

Email hello@bluepelicandigital.com from the email address registered to your Mark account, with the subject line Data deletion request. If your request concerns a specific Facebook Page or Instagram account connected to Mark, include the Page name or Instagram username so we can locate the data.

What we delete

When we receive a verified request, we will:

  1. Disconnect any Meta (Facebook or Instagram) OAuth connections and delete the associated access tokens.
  2. Delete your account, your clients' data, your agency record, and all generated content and posts stored in Mark, including any photos or videos you uploaded.
  3. Delete any API keys and OAuth tokens you have stored.
  4. Retain only audit-log entries strictly necessary for security purposes, in an anonymized form.

We will confirm deletion within 14 days.

Revoke Mark's access on Facebook directly

To immediately revoke Mark's access to your Facebook account: log into Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → find Mark → Remove. This revokes Mark's access on Meta's side. Please also email us so we can delete the corresponding data from our systems.

Revoke Mark's access on Instagram directly

Disconnecting an Instagram account inside Mark immediately deletes the access token, Instagram Business account ID, and username stored in Mark — but Meta does not provide a way for apps to revoke an Instagram Login authorization on Meta's side, so the authorization you granted at Meta remains until you remove it yourself. To fully revoke it: in the Instagram app, go to Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites, find Mark_Agent-IG (the name Mark appears under in Instagram) on the Active tab, and tap Remove. On a computer, the same list is at instagram.com/accounts/manage_access. We recommend doing both.
